Our mandate

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office implements social protection and poverty-reduction programs for the people of Luna, Apayao — safeguarding the welfare of children, women, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, solo parents, indigenous peoples, and families in crisis, in line with national social welfare laws.

Verified residents may apply for the following forms of assistance through the e-Serbisyo Luna portal. Each request is endorsed by your barangay and reviewed by the MSWDO.

Medical Assistance

Help with hospital bills, medicines, and laboratory or diagnostic costs for those who cannot afford them.

Educational Assistance

Support for school supplies, fees, and other educational needs of students in need.

Burial / Funeral Assistance

Financial help for the funeral and burial expenses of a deceased family member.

Transportation Assistance

Fare and transport support, especially for medical referrals and stranded individuals.

Food Assistance

Food packs and relief for families affected by calamity, crisis, or hardship.

Hygiene / Sleeping Kits

Basic hygiene kits and sleeping materials for evacuees and displaced families.

Assistive Devices
